Nominee for Term Expiring in 2029

Glenda Valero de Silano

I have been a member of Chevron Federal Credit Union since 2009, and I have served as a volunteer since 2022. My first volunteer role with the Credit Union was as an Associate Director and as part of the Executive Compensation Committee. I bring over 28 years of Human Resources experience, including expertise in talent management and leadership development, staffing, culture, change management, HR policies, compensation and benefits. As a Board member, I am committed to ensuring the Credit Union retains its financial strength while continuing to provide our members with high quality services and products that meet their needs.

Rick Van De Boom

I have been a member of Chevron Federal Credit Union since 1980. I have served on the Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee since 2003 and remain an active member of that committee. It has been my privilege to serve as a Director on the Board since April 2017. As a Director, I continue to use my cybersecurity background to support the Credit Union’s online and mobile banking applications to help ensure that the most cost-effective security measures are being implemented. I bring over 38 years of Information Technology and Cybersecurity experience. I look forward to continuing to support the membership through the implementation of new technologies to enhance the Credit Union’s products and services.

Alan Wong

I have been a member of the Credit Union since 2008 and have served on the Board of Directors since 2021, including as Board Chair since 2024. Prior to joining the Board, I spent seven years on the Asset Management Committee. I am a CFA charterholder with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. I bring more than 20 years of professional experience spanning financial markets and finance leadership at Chevron. It has been an honor to represent our members, and I look forward to continuing to advance the Credit Union’s focus on safety and soundness, strong member value, and an excellent member experience.

Marla Wright

I joined Spectrum Credit Union in 1999. After the merger with Chevron Federal Credit Union, I became an active volunteer on one of the Houston advisory councils, where I continue to serve. My commitment to our members has been reflected in my roles as Associate Director, Director, and 3rd Vice Chair, and I remain dedicated to supporting our community even as my professional responsibilities have grown. With over 30 years of engineering and project management experience at Bechtel, I bring a strong foundation in work process controls, sound decision-making, and financial stewardship. I am seeking your support to continue advocating for exceptional member service, delivering products that truly meet our members’ needs, and fostering stronger relationships with our sponsor organizations.
